12月19日讯接受西班牙节目El Hormiguero采访时，何塞卢透露，2010-11赛季他代表皇马首秀出场并打进一球（C罗助攻）那天，C罗将自己的球衣送给了他。
13年过去，何塞卢从未洗过那件球衣：“这件球衣没有异味，闻起来还不错，更重要的是，前几天我在亚冠和C罗交手后，他把球衣给了我，我也没洗。”
“我确实会洗大部分换来的球衣，但有些球衣我喜欢保持原样，不是因为它的味道。味道终究会因为时间流逝消失，保持原样会因为能让我想起他穿着这件球衣踢球的样子，那上面沾满了青草...那是最特别的球衣，上面还留着些许污渍。”
何塞卢表示，在他收藏的大约300件球衣中，只有十几件没有洗，但其中没有梅西的球衣。
